With the Course re-opening this week, we thought it would be worth re-advising that golfing handicap administration has now been transferred across from CONGU to the new World Handicapping System (WHS).
Although we won't experience the full factor of the WHS until Spring due to our Course alterations impacting our slope measurements, for all your day to day golfing handicapping matters this is now in place.
In England this is administered by England Golf via a new portal run by Dotgolf. Our ISV has some information and FAQs on this link that may be interesting for people to read.

You should be able to access your handicap index via the Club V1 Members Hub / App still, which links to your How Did I Do account. There are also England Golf access portals. These can be logged into and view the finer details of your calculations. see below.

This system is still being refined and there are still some issues, that we have raised with the WHS. There may still be some re-calculations of handicaps when these issues are addressed and we ask you bear with us on this. Hopefully they will be sorted soon and we will communicate when these are fixed.
For the time being, please do read all the information you can and try getting used to the terminology and changes each stage has on your handicap. Any questions people have, there will be competitions committee members on hand sunday to help and the office will try and assist with any weekday queries.
