One of the many ideas the Centenary Working Group are working towards is the building of a Centenary Wall. As this is one of the bigger projects we are working on we would like to introduce the idea to the membership and get the ball rolling.

Therefore we would like to inform all current and even past members who have Southport Old Links at heart, of the option to purchase a personalised engraved brick for our Centenary wall.

There are plans to have single bricks and double size bricks available to sponsor. From these we are hoping to raise enough money to fund the building of the wall and also to contribute to the many other plans across the year.

For a single brick you get 2 lines of text available with 16 characters (including spaces and punctuation marks) per line. For a double brick it would be 4 lines each with 16 characters (including spaces and punctuation marks).

Initial thoughts on the cost per brick is in the region of £100 to sponsor. For the double size bricks it will be slightly discounted tbc (ie. not just double the price).

This should be a wonderful and unique opportunity to be a lasting part of the Southport Old links Centenary Legacy. Whether this be for yourself, your family or even in memory of a loved one.

We would like to ask those who would be interested to register your interest with the Club Office, this will allow us to start the process and allow us to gauge the size of the wall that we can build.
