I'm honoured & privileged to be Captain for 2024, I have been a member for 32 years since joining as an Intermediate in 1992. I have represented the club in SDGA Handicap league & Captained the team for 2 years. Both the course & service in the clubhouse always receive great feedback from other clubs we compete against

I felt & feel privileged to be the Lady Captain for 2024 being a comparative "newbie on the block" thereby experiencing first hand the depth & warm welcome all are given by the "Club for Everyone". I have proudly represented SOL within the Ladies Friendly & Bronze Teams & also in the SDGA Mixed Golf competitions.

I have been an active member for 22 years & was Captain in 2017. I retired in 2016 after 36 years working at Bae Systems Warton in IT. I am actively involved on several club committees & enjoy being part of our team of volunteers. When not playing golf I enjoy cycling, fishing and supporting Everton FC.
